She belongs to the high ocean class +100 A5, meaning she can sail everywhere - except for glacial latitudes in winter time. This masterpiece of modern shipbuilding can accommodate up to 42 passengers in 18 cabins. She was last refitted in 2013.

The famous Costa Navarino resort, located in the south-western Peloponnese, has two 18-hole courses that are equally spectacular and exciting: the Dunes Course overlooks a beautiful sandy beach and then continues through olive and fruit groves, while the Bay Course is located in Navarino Bay and calls for slightly more strategic play, while you marvel at views of the sea and mountains. The five-star resort of Porto Elounda is home to a private 9-hole par-3 golf course with two playing options for each hole. And The Crete Golf Club’s course is an exceptional 18-hole course with gorgeous views of the Lasithi Mountains.

Day-by-day Itinerary
The ship will reach the 19 square kilometre island of Elafonisos in the afternoon. Situated between the Peloponnese and Kythira in the Ionian Sea, Elafonisos is utterly peaceful and relaxing. In the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries it was a base for pirates; today you’ll find a large fleet of traditional fishing boats there. With its colourful flora, fine white beaches and fantastic blue water, the island offers unspoilt snorkelling. The taverns at the harbour invite you to dine on the freshest seafood. If you want to stay on board, you can indulge in water sports like swimming, diving or water-skiing, or simply relax in total comfort. In the evening, Running on Waves will leave the island to anchor the next morning in Pylos.
After breakfast in Pylos (and plenty of coffee), play the first golf course near the harbour, the fantastic Dunes Course in the famous Greek Golf Club Costa Navarino. Because the ship stays in the port of Pylos, the economic center of the Messinia region, you’ll have the chance to explore this lively little town located on the southwest coast of Peloponnese, with its many small steep lanes and a great atmosphere. Or have a drink on the platia (town square) and watch the colourful hustle and bustle.
Return to Golf Club Costa Navarino to master the Bay Course - one of the most attractive courses in Greece. After perfecting your swing, head for the 19th hole for a well-deserved cold beverage. The ship departs in the evening.
In the morning you’ll arrive at the beautiful island of Kythira (also known as Hora). This island, situated on the south-eastern finger of the Peloponnese, was spared from mass tourism and is well-preserved. A mild climate with a varied landscape - mountains, picturesque bays with crystal clear water, olive groves, cypresses, churches and monasteries – makes for perfect hiking. Those who want to stay aboard have the opportunity to swim, dive or water-ski. At noon the ship will leave Kythira and take course on Crete.
The ship anchors in Crete, in the port of Elounda. A small town in the Mirabell Bay, 45 km from Heraklion and 14 km west of Agios Nikolaos, Elounda is surrounded by 5-star resorts. A small coastal promenade connects the small port with Plaka, a cosy fishing village with tavernas and cafes in a tranquil setting. Three restored windmills form part of the landscape of Elounda. Here, you’ll play from noon in the private golf club Elounda, a very attractive 9-hole course which has the characteristics of an 18-hole course due to different tee-off possibilities. That evening you’ll leave the port of Elounda to arrive the next morning in Heraklion.
On the final day of your luxury sailing trip, you have the chance to play a last round at the nearby Crete Club after 9.a.m, scoring under par on all holes thanks to all the practice you’ve had. Then take a bit of time to explore Crete’s biggest city, or head for the nearby Heraklion airport.
