Skopelos

Known as the greenest island in the Aegean Sea, Skopelos is an authentic Greek destination which combines unspoilt nature, mountainous interiors, top-notch food and quiet beaches. Accessing this paradise is not the easiest – unless you come by yacht! For absolute privacy and solitude, sail north and drop anchor at the beaches of Hovolo, Ftelia and Neraki, which are inaccessible to cars.

Skiathos

The most popular island in the Sporades group, Skiathos is a heady mix of pine-covered hills, turquoise waters and a throbbing nightlife. With over 60 beaches to choose from and numerous coves and capes, you’re guaranteed to find a perfect spot to drop anchor. Lalaria Beach, only accessible by boat, has spectacular white cliffs rising out of the turquoise waters, sea caves and a beautiful sandy beach.

Alonnisos

Fertile, verdant Alonnisos is the third member of the Northern Sporades, after Skiathos and Skopelos. Clad in the greenery of pine and oak trees, as well as vineyards, olive and fruit trees, it manages to retain its tranquil ambience despite being a popular holiday destination. As you recline on deck, or dive into the turquoise waters, you’ll be the envy of all the landlubbers. The ports of Patitiri and Steni Vala, in the south, offer spectacular scenery and clean, modern amenities.

Skyros

The southernmost island in the Sporades, Skyros is known for its charming coastal villages, jagged coastline, mountains, sea caves and beaches. Due to Skyros being more isolated than many other Greek islands, it doesn’t get overrun with yachts, making it a great place for unhindered exploration. The island may not be as developed as others, such as Skiathos, but being aboard a yacht means you have immediate access to all the pampering and luxury you desire.
